How to live out of a suitcase for six months

It’s always a great idea to travel light where one would walk into the hotel feeling so energetic with a small backpack on his shoulder. In this case, the person is ready to explore the city unencumbered.
It’s a little daunting to one who spends as much time thinking about clothes, drag around a lot of stuff, toiletries, and electronics into a suitcase and a weekender bag. It’s better to live it light notwithstanding; you’re staying six months which seem to be far. I discovered that’ you really can’t pack just about everything you need in one suitcase. This is where you separate your needs from your wants.
Here are how to live out of a suitcase for six months:
Bring things of multiple uses.
Are you thinking of bringing stuff that is selective, a top that only goes with one pair of pants, sandals that only match two dresses or a necklace that will match one or two things in your suitcase? Don’t even do it. It might seem to be a good idea, but the aftermath of the experience might not be palatable.
Go along with things that can serve many purposes, clothes that could be easy to wash without taking them laundry. Ensure that all of your clothes go together-colour-wise, not just a matter of proportions. You need to be colour discipline. Don’t feel ashamed wearing the same things again and again, so as long as they are clean, there’s no problem. Don’t include things you have not a put-on for a long time.
Consider the weather of your new location
The number one thing you should take into cognizance while packing your items is the weather you’ll face in the next six months. Put clothes in your backpack that will suit the weather; you’re going to face. Your projection regarding the weather should be thorough and well researched. You can install a travel weather App on your phone to help you, make a right decision.
Chase a feeling, not a look.
Everything you’re to put-on, have to make you feel good, how you’re looking shouldn’t be considered. Do you feel lovily in flowy tops, go for it? Remember your feeling about things you did or put-on can affect your vacation a long way.
Only pack things you don’t mind getting ruined.
Remember, you’re spending six months, and you’re going to do some of the laundries yourself, don’t pack anything that would make you feel depressed if it got stained, pilled or bleached. It’s not worth it that, some clothes are not going to be worn again and they’re occupying the little space in your backpack.
Leave space for new purchases.
When packing your belongings, leave space for new purchases. I have been to a place where I needed to dress like the locals and for the fact, I still had space to put those items in my backpack; I was able to buy few extra clothes. That helped me to blend with the locals, and I felt at home.
